Working with existing jobs – The Job Card
In the Article eDrops - Manual - eDROPS Management Mode Working with Existing jobs - The Job Card.
We walk through: Maintain, Update and managing of the installations’ drops Inspection jobs.
As covered in the Article “eDrops - Manual - eDROPS Management Mode Job list page”, weenter the Job list by using the Management Mode Dashboard menu “Jobs”, to list all drops Inspection jobs registered for this specific Installation.
To edit an already existing job choose, and click on the Jobs list item (1)
(in this example, the Job “Upper derrick 90”).
By clicking on the list item, we access the “JOB INFORMATION” card (2).
The “JOB INFORMATION” card, will give the opportunity/access to set:
•The “Job title”
•“Inspection frequency”
•What is the job “Planned start date”
•“WO number”
•“Preventive Maintenance Routine”
•The “Job description”
The “JOB INFORMATION” card, also gives an overview of “Performing inspectors” and the “INSPECTION SUMMARY”.
Remark:

Menu “Job details” (1), Section “JOB INFORMATION” (2)
Management mode has the permission to edit all values in the “JOB INFORMATION” Section.
It is, important to notice that all changes in the “Job card” will be inherited on a global scale for the eDROPS Configuration on this installation.
If we change, e.g., the Job title value from “Upper derrick 90” to “Upper derrick 180” the job title will be mirrored to all eDROPS work lists on this specific installation.
The same applies on changes or new values to:
- Inspection frequency
- Planned start date
- WO
- Preventive Maintenance routine
- Job Description
Remark:
Regarding “Job Description” – The Job Description text field is a part of the Inspection Mode, See info.
(3) Please notice, that the “Job title” and “Inspection frequency“ are mirrored in the Job List and the Job scope.
