Inspection Mode User Manual - Synchronization

Bridge menu:

By clicking on the Sidebar menu (Top left with caption "BRIDGE"), you will open and access the eDrops Sidebar options menu.

The Sidebar options menu helps you to identify and navigate between different elements and options in eDrops. I. E. you can jump back to the Company Portal, select and open other available Bridge applications (NDT, Equip or Projects)* Or, change between "Inspector Mode" and "Management Mode"**

Please Note:
* It is only possible to run one Bridge Application at a time in a Browser window
** Require elevated "eDrops Manager role"

Synchronization Menu

Please notice:

1 Synchronization switch - enables or disables the eDrops synchronization to
Axess Digitals data storage (online) when the device has internet coverage.
The Synchronization switch should be set as "enabled" by default.

2 Download eDrops content switch - enables or disables downloading of eDrops content for the installation you currently inspect.

The Download eDrops content switch should be set to disable when using handheld devices such as Android Tablets. This is because the content will use the device’s internal memory if local storage is close to full.

3 Data backup option - by clicking on the "Data backup" button, you will start a local backup routine that stores the devices' eDrops inspection content that is not yet synchronized with Axess Digitals online in the device local storage. It allows the users to manually upload the eDrops data to the Axess Digitals support team. This gives the Axess Digitals support team the ability to troubleshoot and correct data errors before the inspection data is added and made available for the installation's eDrops application - this is part of our customer support.
